At Anderson Integrative Medicine, LLC in Chesapeake, VA, we offer medical cannabis certifications for the use of VA-approved medical marijuana. Current medical records and a list of current medications/supplements are required for each appointment.
Please call our office to discuss your medical diagnosis/diagnoses with one of our teammembers to determine your eligibility for medical cannabis in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Instructions will be provided at that time for the records requirement for this viist.
Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Tourette's Syndrome, and Epilepsy qualify for the use of medical cannabis in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Incapacitated adults with a qualifying medical condition will be considered if they make an appointment with their goverment/medical appointed power of attorney. Both individuals (the patient and the power of attorney) must be present for the appointment.
Veterans who have been diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition will not lose their VA benefits but will have to find a qualified medical provider OUTSIDE the VA system to provide their certification. AIM provides certificiations to our beloved Vets on a regular basis.

- Fibromyalgia
- Headaches, chronic
- Migraines
- Insomnia
- Nausea
- Parkinson's disease
- Rheumatoid arthitis
- Seizures
- Ulcerative Colitis
- Crohn's disease
- Chronic pain
- Other medical conditions as determined by our provider
Unlike online medical cannabis certifications, patients who choose AIM for their medical cannabis certifications have physical access to our medical provider for questions, issues with their certificate itself or issues with the dispensaries.

MEDICAL CANNABIS CERTIFICATION PRICES
- The original certification costs $200. Your visit includes education about medicinal cannabis, how to use it and what to look for in your personalized treatment plan.
- Annual recertifications are $100
- Prescription-strength CBD and CBD-A products range from $25-$150 and can be purchased in our office.
- We are working with a local CBD supplier to offer access to our CBD products on the products page of our website for patients who cannot make it to the office for purchase. COMING SOON!
