Incapacitated adults with a qualifying medical condition will be considered if they make an appointment with their goverment/medical appointed power of attorney. Both individuals (the patient and the power of attorney) must be present for the appointment.
Veterans who have been diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition will not lose their VA benefits but will have to find a qualified medical provider OUTSIDE the VA system to provide their certification. AIM provides certificiations to our beloved Vets on a regular basis.
